We made wooden boats using lollipop sticks and tested them yesterday afternoon to see if they would float! Here are some photos of our boats successfully floating and moving!

Throughout this two week topic, we will completing lots of exciting pieces of work! We will be touching on our art skills by painting comparisons of the sea in calm and rough condition and making wooden model boats. We are also going to use our geography, history and ICT skills too!!

Drama/Role Play

Last week, the children worked really hard recreating scenes from 'The Wizard of Oz'. They made their own props and took snap shots of each scene and uploaded these to their computers to form short films. Here are some photos of them in action...
